Fruit Lumps

In early December, we were shopping in Costco, and my 4 year old daughter, Hailey, asked if she could have a giant box of Froot Loops cereal.  She had never had that cereal, and I wasn't about to buy it.  Then she asked if Santa could bring her Froot Loops for Christmas.  That seemed a little pathetic, but I told her I would let him know.  Santa did not bring them.  I told her the reindeer must have been hungry and eaten them on thier long trip.  She seemed to sympathize with the hungry reindeer and let it go.

By the way, Kellogg's is "trying" to make Froot Loops healthy. The box says they added fiber, however the first ingredient is still sugar.

Yesterday, we went to a waterpark, stayed overnight in a hotel and had breakfast in the restaurant.  I had the breakfast buffet, which had the usual stuff and mini cold cereal boxes.  I took two boxes of Froot Loops home.  I don't think that is really stealing.

Anyway, when we got home, Savannah, the 2 year old, found the cereal in my bag and wanted it.  I don't even know how she knew that it is food, but then Hailey saw it and was sooo excited!

She asked, "Mommy, can I eat these Fruit Lumps now?"
I replied, "They are called Froot Loops."
Hailey stated, "I know, but I call them Fruit Lumps."

How do you argue with that?
